They start in about 10 days in Belarus. Should be good. I'm sure quite a few Blues players will join their national teams.

I assume Canada and Russia are favored.

But he came back to score 2 goals in the playoffs. Eventhough Team USA is 2-0 they are lacking starpower. The bigger ice surface for international hockey gives players like Oshie more room to work their magic.

Yeah plus the WC aren't that important anyways.

They are somewhat bigger in Canada and among hockey die hards which we are supposed to be! A few years ago they broadcast at least the USA and Canada games but I'm not sure anymore.

Russia is leading 4 to 1. That's why I said Team USA could use Oshie. He's got more room to work with on the larger ice surface.

Ovie's knee injury looked like it could have been pretty bad but sounds like the Xrays came back negative for a tear. The video almost reminded me of Boat's knee injury in that fact, looked way worse than it ended up being.

Canada got knocked out in the quarterfinals for the 5th year in a row by Finland! Team USA lost to the Czechs 4-3.

Semifinals are set for tomorrow with:

Russia vs. Sweden

Czechs vs. Finland

No.
I'd love to have his offensive talent here, but the other aspects of his game leave a lot to be desired...plus it would take way too much to get him...it may hurt us more than help us to trade for him.
