Blues audio highlights 91-92,92-93, 93-94, 95, 96-97, 97-98
In the early-mid 90's, since I lived outside St. Louis, and since I had only limited availability to games on TV, I used to follow the Blues on KMOX. I also used to record the games and make highlight tapes. I recently ran across some of these that I transferred over to CD. I was wondering if there was a way I could share some of these mp3 files on the board or if anyone would even be interested in some of this material. You guys can let me know what you think.

I don't know if there's a way to share, but I would love to hear some of these if you could get them uploaded.

I would definitely be interested, especially in any Ken Wilson calls, and ESPECIALLY if you have any of Wilson's calls on spectacular saves (HIGHWAAAAAAAY ROBBERY BY FUHR).
regardless, post 'em!

I'm sure Curt would have no problem at all letting you post the mp3s to the site for people to download. Good on you for your efforts!

Try uploading to http://www.soundcloud.com and sharing.
That's where I put these:
St. Louis Blues Power
Collection of calls from the Cardinals vs. Rangers - 2006 World Series Game #6
If soundcloud.com doesn't give you enough space or it won't work for you or whatever, I'll host them and share them.

Here's another one with plenty of Ken Wilson. More to come.

When I became a fan there was no center ice, no stlouisblues.com (there probably was but I just never bothered looking for it), no ability to stream audio or video on the computer and even if I could it would be so franking slow it would buffer the entire game before I heard the first 20 seconds of the opening period. I relied solely on national broadcasts, the newspaper and my awfully slow as shit 14.4 modem connected no-frames internet which I had at home but usually used at the library because it was a tad faster but I was limited to one hour on the computers there. These are a pleasure to listen to! Thanks, bro.

I'm glad you guys like them. I was in the same boat; I lived no where near St. Louis, but I was Blue to the bone. I used to listen to these over the summer. The 91-92 part I is actually the last portion. I can't find the other disc at the moment, but I will look for it. I have two 80 min discs for the 92-93 season. The bad thing is I don't have much free space left. I will put up as much as I can.

I found the 1st parts of 91-92. Plenty of Hull and Oates. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did and still do.
