Let's get back on track tonight. Would be nice to take 3 of 4 from them.

Ty Wigginton chugging from 2nd to score was one of the funniest/coolest things I've seen in awhile.

Wigginton scoring from second was pretty awesome. No wonder Rice spent 11 years in the minors. He doesn't even know to cover home when the catcher goes after a ball. My team would have been yelled at for that when we were 10-11.

Gast with a solid debut. That rundown in the 6th was pretty awful, but oh well. I'd like to think that that kind of thing is more of a fluke than indicative of our defensive capabilities.

For sure, the rundown snafu or something like that is bound to happen over 162 games. But Gast was cruising and then had the one bad inning. Otherwise, the offense took the load off his shoulders early. We've already ensured a series split. The Mets just don't look like they're a good team, which is crazy after all the money they've thrown at the roster over the years.

Series win secure. If the Birds win today, it will be their 2nd 4 game sweep of the year, no?

Yep. Swept the Brewers in Milwaukee a week or two ago. Another would be pretty sweet. I hope we keep piling up wins while we're hot and healthy, because at some point we're going to get into a funk.

I'm almost more impressed by Miller last night than in his previous start. He didn't have his best command last night, but he was able to work through it and not even allow a run.

I have no idea what happened there between Robinson and Kozma. From the look of it, neither does Kozma.
