The American Hockey League will release its 2012-13 schedule on Friday afternoon.

We already know the Peoria Rivermen will open on the road on Oct. 12.

Check here, and on pjstar.com tomorrow for a look at the complete schedule.
Didn't expect the schedule to be released until next week.

PEORIA —

The Peoria Rivermen will face division rivals Chicago and Rockford in a three-game preseason schedule in early October.

The Rivermen will open with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Chicago Wolves at Carver Arena on Oct. 1, then face Chicago in a rematch at 7 p.m. in Hoffman Estates on Oct. 5.

Peoria wraps up preseason with a 7:05 p.m. game against Rockford in Carver Arena on Oct. 6.

All upper and lower bowl tickets are $10 for the two Peoria home games. Full-season ticket holders get free tickets to those games.
Monday isn't going to be a good night, but they do get the Saturday to make up. Hoffman Estates lost the ECHL Chicago Express, it is a good building for hockey, wouldn't mind heading up Friday night as long as the coach plays some regulars. I expect the Monday will be more fill ins.
