I actually find things more exciting now. The focus can now be completely dedicated to the deadline and the off-season; which I expect to be pretty entertaining for our team.Aode wrote:With the loss to the Hawks tonight- whatever final hope of making the playoffs existed is extinguished...

Just an update.BringBackZezel wrote:Sounds good. I've got $100 that says the Blues will not make the playoffs. From now until the end of the season, they need to average at least 1.342 points per game to make the playoffs.
A record of 25-12-1 over the final 38 games would get them to 90 points...but even that wouldn't guarantee the playoffs. They need to pass 5 teams, meaning none of those 5 can hit a hot streak between now and then also.
The bet is on.
The deadline is over. Tkachuk and Guerin are gone.
Based on current paces the Blues would need 99 points @ the end of the season to make the playoffs...which is 38 points from where they are now and have 20 games to get there.
That's a record of 19-1.
Improbable indeed.
