March Madness

Post by WaukeeBlues »

Who you all got!?

I watched very little b-ball this year.

I got Nova, Zags, Louisville and UCLA in the final four, with Zags over UCLA for the 'ship.

I had no idea what to do with Michigan, so we'll see.

March Madness

Post by Toasted Oates »

I didn't watch much either until the conference tournaments.

Went with Duke/Gonzaga/Louisville/Kentucky w/ Duke over Kentucky in the championship.

Have Notre Dame and UNC Wilmington in the Sweet 16, so it's already gettin' tight here.

I've got Duke/Arizona/Louisville/UNC with Duke over UNC in the title game. My bracket is pretty chalky. I have 3 1's, 3 2's and a 3 in the elite 8. Only thing I did that was a little crazy was pick kU to lose to Miami (now Michigan State). I pretty much always have them out in the second round though.

Oh, and UNC Wilmington screwed me up a bit too lol. I had them in the Sweet 16. I don't really trust either Florida or Virginia, so thought that was a good spot to take a chance.

Well, my bracket's toast. But I jinxed the Blue Devils so you're welcome.

I got a grand total of 6 of the Sweet Sixteen

Worst bracket I think I've ever had.

My top 2 are still alive (Zags over UCLA for the championship) but otherwise I'm basically done. Picked the upsets that didn't happen and took the chalk that lost.

This is one of my worst ever too. I was in 2 pools, and the general formula for me winning them was Duke being the champion and Louisville going further than Kansas. So, I'm done. Haven't decided who I'm pulling for yet though.

I was actually doing pretty well the first 3 days of the tourney until Duke crapped the bed. I had them winning it all. I also had Louisville in the final 4. I'm hosed now. Ugh.

If anyone has the East region correct, major kudos. Wisconsin/Florida and Baylor/South Carolina. I hope the Gamecocks make it out just because that program has never won anything.

I looked at the bracked of the guy who won the whole tournament on the ESPN site - he actually picked a 16 seed over #1 Kansas and had them winning 3 rounds. Aside from that stupid mistake he pretty much nailed the rest of the bracket spot on. I just thought that was funny that a guy can pick so well but the most obvious choice of all he missed on - go figure.
