New Car Recommendations

Going out buying my first car on my own and wondering if you all had any suggestions of makes and models to look at.

I'm looking for a 4 door sedan, 2009-2012 model, with some pop (6 cylinder engine and/or really good acceleration system), good engine and decent amount of interior space. That's honestly about the end of my "must have's" list  . I don't care about the spaceship computer in the front console, I don't care about leather seats, I want a new car with some giddy-up to it and that's about it.

At the moment I'm leaning more towards the Ford Fusion and Chevy Impala models and that's kind of the direction I'm looking at. Friend's wife just bought a Ford Fusion and she loves the thing and recommends that one (I believe the 2010). But there's so damn many of them out there.

It's a little thing that is a big deal...and that's a stereo that has bluetooth, an input jack and a usb port. I use bluetooth to stream music from my phone to my stereo...it's great.
You can always install an aftermarket one, but why not get a factory one so you don't have to mess with it?

Hopefully not some shoddily made American car.
