Shelby Miller essentially threw a perfect game, minus the first batter. I read that his game score was 98, which is rarefied air when it comes to that stat. I saw on Twitter that only 13-14 pitching performances had a higher score.

He was absolutely filthy last night. That is the 3rd time in his first 8 career starts that he went 6+ only allowing 1 hit. I'm trying not to get super stoked about him until he's had 10-15 starts and we see how he does when there is a book on him. But, I can't imagine a better start to his career.

Waino kept the streak going for awhile today. 40 straight retired before Helton walked. Then maintained the no-hitter into the 8th. Back to back CG SO's w/ only 3 hits allowed total. Against the best offense in the NL (statistically) so far this season.

Today was ugly. At least we didn't get no-hit. And took the goose-egg off the board with two meaningless runs. We've won 9 of 11 though, so today's just one of those days. Now we get the Mets and don't have to face Harvey.

Exactly and we won another series. The Rockies have the best offense in the league (if I heard that right on the broadcast) so they were due to break out after being completely shut down.
