This is my favorite day of the year. My dad and I go to the home opener together every year. If anybody else is down there and wants to grab a beer or something, hit me up.

I've gotta make it to a home opener one of these days. It's a special day in St. Louis. Makes me wish I lived much closer to the Lou. Even if I didn't go to the game, could head downtown and be part of the atmosphere.
Have fun cardsfan!

Edited for jibberish. Yesterday sucked though.

So...is Jason Motte the Cardinals most valuable player?

I don't understand how Boggs was left in so long.

I believe he's now blown 12 of his last 15 save opportunities.
The better question may be "why was he sent out there at all"?

Boggs is perplexing to me. He clearly has the talent, but seems to choke a lot. I'm generally of the belief that the idea of a closer is kind of dumb because 3 tough outs in 8th is pretty much the same as 3 tough outs in the 9th. But, Boggs definitely doesn't support that theory.

So what exactly are the Yankees going offer us for him?

Not that I want the DH in the National League, but if it's inevitable, I hope they do it sooner rather than later so we could keep Adams and slot him there.

I don't follow the MLB like I do the NHL or NFL, but I keep hearing 'two years' for the DH in the national league, I don't know why everyone is picking that exact time from but I'm sure hearing it a lot for there not to be something behind hit.
