Was going to Jets w/ a 7th rounder for a 4th and a 6th. But, apparently there's a snag in that deal. Schefter now reporting that he might be going to the Rams.

Yeah, they mentioned earlier that we had made the second best offer for him.

I still think NY will get the deal done.

I'm torn on whether I want him or not, but my first instinct is that it would be fun to have him in St. Louis.

If Jacksonville gets a 2nd shot at him and doesn't take it though, they are (Franking) retarded. That is the most obvious landing spot for him. Only loser in that is Blaine Gabbert. And, let's face it, if he doesn't show significant improvement over the next year or two, he'll be replaced there anyway.

No, no, no, no! The Rams do not need Tebow. Tebow will not help the Rams. The idiots who are already calling Bradford a bust will have more ammo and be screaming for Tebow to get in there, same thing that happened in Denver.

If they used him an HB/FB/WR/QB hybrid? Fine...but that won't happen.

I agree to a point. If he's there as Plan B at QB, no thanks. But, I just assumed that if the Rams are interested, Fisher is smart enough to only get him to be a hybrid player who could fill in on an emergency basis at QB. That's really the only way I'm interested in him.

Exactly.

And anyone bashing on Bradford doesn't have a clue.

I'd take him over Newton, Luck, and RG III.

Regretfully this organization is so bad they won't ever get him the weapons he needs, they'll move on from him, and he'll become a HOFer somewhere else (just like the Bus)

If Tebow's a Jet, I'm turning in my Jets Fandom Card and becoming a Giants fan. Honestly, I can't stand Tebow. You're religious, that's fine, good for you. But god doesn't care about the outcome of every single play in a professional sports game. Honestly, he doesn't, so why flaunt your religion on the field? If you were truly a man of strong religious convictions, shouldn't you not be working on the sabbath anyway? And besides that, he's not good, just incredibly lucky.

Done deal to Jets. They agreed to pay $2.5 mil of the $5 mil in dispute.

I think the Jags just weren't that interested in him. Getting rid of him if he didn't work out would have been a debacle. Apparently Broncos were willing to take best offer tonight and the Jags wouldn't match the $2.5 mil that the Jets offered. They clearly would have made that back many times over in ticket/jersey sales, so I don't think they wanted him.

Hell...he's not even lucky (hence only completing 46% of his passes) His TEAM was lucky.

The only difference in those wins last year if Orton would have been under center is that the team would have been up and would not have had to have miraculous comebacks.

Look at the game against the Bears.......game is over if Marion Barber just falls down...he runs out of bounds and Prater kicks a 59 yard field goal to send it to OT.

In OT the Bears have the ball in FG range and all Barber has to do fall down again....he fumbles, and Pratier kicks a 56 yard field goal.

Sooooooo.......how did Tebow win that game?

Turns out their offer was for a better pick and they were going to pay more of the money back, TIM PICKED THE JETS (no matter what else you read)!

The Jags 4th is an earlier pick, they offered 3 mill instead of 2.5 mill, and Denver is far more likely to face the Jets in the playoffs then the Jags.

There was absolutely ZERO reason to trade him to NY instead of Jacksonville.

Where did you see that? That really surprises me. I had been hearing exactly the opposite, that he had asked to be traded to Jax, but Elway said they would take the best deal.

ahh, just found an article on ESPN that says he chose the Jets. That's really really really bizarre to me.

Maybe he thinks he can save Rex Ryan.

Teblow, take your little act somewhere else.
