VLC vs. WMP
yo
askin the advise of yall mofos...i use VLC religiously due to the fact that it will play anything and everything, however, i recently downloaded (wait, no, my computer recently without asking me downloaded) SP3 and it reverted all of my video associations back to WMP. now this is all fine and dandy,im good with having it all updated and whatnot, which brings me to the predicament:
one of the things that i forgot that i liked about WMP is that when it is in full screen and you can adjust the volume, video position, etc... where as in vlc you have to un-fullscreen and then make the appropriate adjustments, which, i forgot how annoying this actually was till it got reverted back to WMP.
anyway, my question is: does anyone know of a program that is as versatile as VLC at playin all codecs w/o asking, but as user friendly as wmp?

Not sure what you're meaning by video position and all, but you can adjust the volume without exiting fullscreen with CMD + up/down arrow. At least this works on the OS X version, which I'd think the Win version would have an equivalent.stinkdified wrote:one of the things that i forgot that i liked about WMP is that when it is in full screen and you can adjust the volume, video position, etc... where as in vlc you have to un-fullscreen and then make the appropriate adjustments, which, i forgot how annoying this actually was till it got reverted back to WMP.

dude, i tried core and didn't like it. didn't play one of my files, can't remember if it was a .ogm or a 1080p .mkv file but it wouldn't play it...plus the buttons were way too small and were in a bar-like format...like the mini-version of winamp. couldn't see what i was doing.
