Hour Long Television Drama Recomendations?

The wife and I weren't really into the various television drama shows until recently. But since we got Netflix, we've started renting tv shows and watching an entire seasons in a couple weeks time.
We just finished up watching The Sopranos not long ago. What a great, great series.
And now we're watching Dexter...another good series.

Does anyone else have any recommendations for hour long dramas we could start watching from the beginning?
We're looking to start watching another one now that we are caught up with Dexter.
(Waiting a week or more to see a new episode of something, really sucks.)

Shows we currently watch/have watched:
- LOST
- The Sopranos
- Dexter

I heard The West Wing was good...and I've heard goot things about 24 as well.

Any other recommendations?

I really enjoyed Homicide: Life on the Streets. Also Monk is quite good and sort of quirky at the same time.

Personally, I've always dug "Rescue Me." It's a drama, but there's a fair amount of humor mixed in (it's Denis Leary, after all).

Those are my top 4... though we watch a bunch of others... all three CSI's, NCIS is pretty good, the first season of the Terminator series was a lot better than I expected it to be.

I forgot about House... we enjoy that quite a bit as well...even though each and every show pretty much follows the same pattern...I still really like it.

Anyone else watch Dexter on Showtime? I hadn't heard much about it until I caught part of an episode one day and decided to start watching it from the beginning. It's pretty damn good.

Yes...but not many titles right now. I imagine that will change over time....just like they keep adding more and more streaming movies...which is awesome.
