Future Expansion

Saw Andy Strickland post, with no sources, that there were rumblings about Houston and Atlanta being on the table for possible expansion which got me to thinking a couple of things, one being that there's already about a dozen too many teams in the NHL and another being that Atlanta must be going for the "Third time's a charm" approach.
The only league in North America that could successfully expand virtually indefinitely is the NFL and I think everyone knows that. As far as continuing to expand the NHL, that's nonsense. Relocate some teams, absolutely. Add more? No damn way. As it stands, I think we were very fortunate to be alive during a time that the Blues won the Cup. Assuming every team won one time it could take 32 years for a fan to see their team win it and obviously there's going to be repeat winners in the mix, hell we may never see the Blues win another as long as we live. Greedy ass owners want the payday that comes with expansion but enough already. There has to be a better way.
