I don't think either team stands much of a chance against the Rags, which bothers me a lot. The deeper they go in the playoffs, the more nonsense I have to hear from everyone.

Ottawa, by the way, is the only team in the playoffs that had a negative goal differential (-2) and they only scored 212 goals. Yeah, they won't get shutout in 4 straight by Lundqvist. At least Boston would be competitive and maybe have a slight shot. Sens have no chance against the Rangers.

Sens logged 21 shots in the 1st period, Lundqvist turns them all away. I have to credit Ottawa though, I didn't think they'd be able to get 21 shots in a single game. Obviously Hank came to play this postseason. Hopefully Washington or Pittsburgh can solve him because no one else is.

And Karlsson gets the lucky bounce goal to win the game....

No sweep in this series, at least not for the Rangers. Senators showed up, big time.

Rangers have been outplayed most of this 1st period. Senators look like the better team in this series.

Senators look fantastic.
That's it for this series, Rags in 5. Sens are done. I'm shocked they even took one game.

To be fair - I was seriously worried when the Rags scored their 5th goal.

Holy shit. I can't believe that. :aaaa:

The Rags have to be having some serious doubts right now, and this season they've kind of sucked at home so Ottawa splits at MSG and they've got a real chance. I can't believe it, just can't believe it. Go Sens!

Also Lundqvist may be really good but when he has a cold stretch he really has a cold stretch. Now would be a great time for him to string together three lousy games.

I think Ottawa is going to take this series. Karlsson is a goddamn playoff beast and the Sens are playing with a real hunger. I forsee the Rags firing their coach if they lose this series.

If you're going to fire a coach, this is the year. There's plenty of experience to pick from as a replacement. Lindy Ruff would do very well with the Rangers lineup.

Gotta a feeling too many are underestimating Boucher. It's not like he took the Lightning to the Conference Finals in his first season with that team or anything.

And Dion Phaneuf played like crap in large chunks of this game.

Pretty sure Phaneuf scored the 4th goal for the Rangers. At least he got into a pointless fight, so I guess that makes up for playing like crap for at least the 3rd game in a row.

We'll have to wait and see what the news is on Karlsson. Not totally apparent what the injury is, the way he fell it looked like he may have wrenched his back a little.

It's absolutely blown my mind that Ottawa managed to win 3 games in this series. It's a shame for them that they have no shot at the Garden and then the Rags will have all the momentum going into game 7. At least all the overtime may have worn out NY for their series against Pittsburgh.

Senators currently up 2-0 on the Rags. Please oh please don't blow it, Ottawa! Lundqvist gave up 2 on 6 shots so far, not quite the kingly type of effort one would normally expect from him in an elimination game.

If the Sens pull this off, that'd be a big disappointment to the league brass hoping to have that NY TV market as long as possible.

Go Sens.
