Anaheim will crush the Oilers. I'll give Edmonton game four, but that's it.

If the league has any common sense (which we all know they don't) they will schedule Western Conference on same days and Eastern Conference on the other days. No reason for Blues-Preds to have weird start times with the other two Western teams being far enough West to accommodate late ET starts with ease. But we know that won't happen.

I'll pick Ducks in 6. This Connor McDavid is a one-man wrecking crew. But Ducks have more veteran experience and I believe are the better overall team.

Even money series from where I'm sitting. I think it'll go seven. Couldn't say who'd win; I have different reasons for why the Ducks or the Oil should, so... I'll let them pick for me :).

And in game 5! Ducks score 3 to tie in the last 3 and a half minutes of regulation and then win in 2OT.

All 3 with the goalie pulled.... I don't think I've ever seen that before.

I was going to stay up to watch that game, but I had a 5K in the morning and after a few minutes thought "meh, it's high-speed hockey with little strategy, I'd rather sleep."

Oops! Of course, going to 2OT I would have been up *way* past a reasonable time to roll out by 6:30am and be semi-functioning.

Hooray for DVRs!! Went to sleep after the 1st period with the game recording. Woke up and finished the game.

Got to 6-0 before Ducks finally scored. I just don't trust this Oilers team with the way they keep blowing leads.

I'd like to see either of these teams light up Nashville though so our management doesn't fall back on "no one scored against them so we don't need to address our offensive issues."

Edmonton up 1-0 early. Good defense still waiting to show up for both teams.

Ducks pull it off. Curious to see how they play against Nashville.

In a word: Fast.

Not even just foot speed but puck moving and decision making. Which Anaheim isn't particularly famous for being. That being said, they just ousted the young and hungry Oilers squad, so...

I still think the Preds get it done. Preds in 6.
