And the Maple Leafs inability to hold a lead this season shows up in the playoffs. Toronto was one of the worst teams in the league when scoring first, which is absolutely nuts, but is the kind of thing that happens with a very young team.

Boyle made the "Patrick Kane" pass for the 2OT game-winner. When behind the net, get past the middle of it and pass back, because the marker for the goaltender to move across is when the skater and puck go beyond the middle of the net. Perfect pass.

Even though Toronto is currently up 2-1 in the series, I still think Washington will win out. Maybe not as quickly as [most of us] expected, but the Caps just have too much talent.
That, and I picked them for the Bracket Challenge.

I kind of want to root for Toronto because I like rooting for the promising young, yet probably not quite ready team. But, we get a better pick if the Caps make the conference finals. So, let's go Caps. I'd be happy for Oshie and Shatty too I guess.

So far pretty much every Blues player who left has gone to teams who haven't done well and/or their performance has been disappointing. For our sake, I hope it continues. Nice to see us getting some 'luck' for a change.

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised that we probably won't be seeing Calgary vs either Washington or Boston in the finals. How awesome would Blues vs 1 of those 2 EC teams be though? Blues vs Backes or Blues vs Shatty/Oshie. That would be cool, although it might be pretty sickening to see one of them raise the Cup at Scottrade in another jersey. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for.
