Brent Burns is otherworldly. Imagine if a defenseman with his offensive talents today was playing in the 80's. He'd be putting guys like Paul Coffey to shame.

They probably didn't call it a charge because he wasn't striding into the hit, but gliding. Now the upward direction toward the head thing? That's another issue. Probably should have been a charge.

Yeah, that crossed my mind. I don't think it was dirty or anything. Just thought it could have reasonably been called a penalty. Either way, that's a hell of a hit.

Sharks looked tired in the 1st period, made 2 mistakes at the beginning of the 2nd leading to 2 breakaway goals, busted their ass the rest of the game, and lost. Congrats to Oilers! Really thought Sharks experience would matter more.
