"It could be a lot worse," Hitchcock said Friday. "We've got two weeks of training camp left, so he won't miss many games. With an injury like that, it could be nothing or it could be surgery, you don't know…
This guy, ladies and gentlemen, is the best, out of all the candidates out there in Coachland, the Blues front office could muster as Head Coach. Yikes.

No Backes, no Boat, no timetable on Schwartz... if the rest of the team plays mediocre or 'Average Blues Hockey', we might be in some serious trouble.

This was my concern on inking him to a long term deal. Guy seems to be pretty damn fragile. So he misses at least 2 weeks of the season before it even starts. Also, any update on Steen? How long will he be out?

You don't know what fragile is until you've had Martin Havlat on your team. God I swear that guy could get injured from merely a faceoff.

Fragile is when the same injury keeps happening over and over again. Freak practice injuries to different areas are something else.

As Kerfuffle said - see Martin Havlat in the dictionary for fragile.
