Get there REALLY early... the security theatre.. err metal detectors are a (Frank).

The preseason game I went to...there really wasn't any wait at all. It think there were a few people in front of us. That was it. And we got there maybe 15 minutes before the game started.
Granted, that was preseason and there was half the crowd there that is usually there...but still.
But yeah...just get there 15 minutes earlier than usual...or 15 minutes late, that will probably work too.
The Cardinals have been doing this for years. So if you've been to a Cardinals game...it's not really a big deal.

We started doing it at the United Center after the Boston bombing. It's gotten better but the worst is in January when it's like 50 below and you're outside waiting for them to scan people. I try to arrive late - I like to get to my seat right at the singing of the National Anthem.

Back in spring 2008 my wife and I came down to Scottrade Center and couldn't believe we were able to just walk in the building without even showing our tickets or having them scanned. I'm guessing that was an exception and somebody just messed up that day cause everyone walking in our entrance just went in the doors and there were no staff there.
