St. Louis Blues poster from Slapshot (the movie)
For sale on ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-St-Loui ... 2ee6427c88 I was looking for one of these and APOD found one and hooked me up. (thanks again btw.)
But this guy says his is actually 40 years old. it looks in great shape for 40 years old...I'm not so sure I believe that.
But if it's like my poster, and it looks like it is, it's cool.

These are the same Curt, but if you look close it looks like corners have very small creasein them at the top, but they are the same for sure.
Produced in 1973 these are over 40 years old. He was selling these at $25 ea, but he is down to the ones with small inperfections now then I'm sure he will be selling ones with small tears and such.

Re: St. Louis Blues poster from Slapshot (the movie)
Yep I have been working with him for a few years now on posters. His dad past away and when they were going through his belongings they came across several boxes of these posters. Its amazing how good of shape they are in.
I've been trying to buy the rights to these, so that I can reproduce and add more teams, but he has yet to come across any paper work that I would need.
These were produced in 71-72 and sold in 72-73 ect at the time of their production there were only 14 teams so there are only 14 different posters.
I feel bad I shipped your poster I guess I could have just brought it to you at the practice had we both known we were going to be there.
you can still find some vintage poster sites selling these for $40 and then there is this guy http://www.ebay.com/itm/ST-LOUIS-BLUES- ... 1c585e646b

I have one of these. I can't wait to finish our basement and put it up next to the kegerator.

Ah, ok...I thought this was a different guy selling reproduced prints or something.APOD wrote:Yep I have been working with him for a few years now on posters. Good to know.
And yeah...I saw the $75 guy. That seems pretty high.
And don't worry about shipping the poster...that was perfectly fine. I didn't know I was going to be at the practice until that day and I was happy to get it when I did.

Yeah...when I have time, I am going to make a frame for it. I also have a few other posters I am going to frame, so I'll knock them all out at once.APOD wrote:Are you framing it?

Re: St. Louis Blues poster from Slapshot (the movie)
Dangit. I just sold some memoribilia and wasn't planning on getting more (no space for it), but this is too cool and the price is too reasonable. Just purchased one. Thanks for the heads up!

I snagged one too. Gonna have to get it and stash it before the boss sees it.
Re: St. Louis Blues poster from Slapshot (the movie)
Got it today. Looks awesome. Plus, the guy threw in an extra poster of the California Golden Seals!!!! Freaking awesome unexpected bonus!
Crappy pic from my 2008 era phone of my decidedly not crappy CGS poster.
