Unless we trade Oshie, Backes, Bouwmeester, Stastny, Elliott, Jaskin, Rattie and Fabbri for the #1 overall.

Mike Babcock’s Toronto Maple Leafs head to Detroit for the Red Wings home opener on Oct. 9. This should be fun
Who would have thought that would happen

We open Wed 10/7 against the Rangers at home. I'm heading to Tampa with the family that Friday for the Columbus Day weekend so I was worried that opening night would be when I was gone. Since it's Wed I can make it. Still hoping for a weekendy day game against St. Louis when the full schedule comes out tomorrow.

Blues start the season at home...then go on a 6 game road trip right out of the gate. Fan-fracking-tastic.

It's because of the Cardinals threat of being in the playoffs. The Blues don't want to compete for the fan's entertainment dollar.
They tend to have a lot of away games early in the year because of this...but 6 out of 7 on road to start the year? Ouch.

82 games of meaningless excuses to get drunk indoors in the winter and pay for the privilege: GREAT SEATS STILL AVAILABLE!

Sucks to know we'll be the team against who McDavid scores his first NHL goal...

To be fair, if I'm not mistaken, Crosby has never scored against the Blues. I get that there are far fewer games against Pittsburgh than what there will be against Edmonton, but we do seem pretty decent at shutting down the big names.

You are correct, Crosby has never scored on us. Every time they quote that stat in game, I feel like he's going to pot one seconds later, but somehow/someway, he's never been able to finish the job.

Are we the only team he hasn't scored against yet?
