If we're going to jump all the way ahead to the SCF, I'd prefer NOT to play the Rangers because it'll be exceedingly torturous for me if they win. Especially so if it's not even competitive.

Minnesota and Chicago scare me the most.

Minnesota because they've been the best team in the NHL since the trade deadline/when they acquired Dubnyk.

Chicago because the Blues seem to have an inferiority complex with them in the playoffs and often during the year.

L.A. looks to be a shadow of the team of the previous two years though everything changes once the playoffs start. Calgary is the least talented and experienced of that list so I voted for them.

Nashville is more talented with about the same experience (not much) and I still have no idea what to think about the Canucks. Thankfully there's no scenario we can face the Ducks in round 1.

It's pretty clear the Blues are going to play either Minny or Chicago in the playoffs. Actually Chicago could be the easier opponent!

While I agree that Chicago sucks a fat one, we're actually tied with Nashville now. Anybody but Anaheim and Vancouver are realistic first round opponents. Division is almost completely up for grabs.

Face it, it's very unlikely anyone catches Anaheim. No one will surpass Minnesota for the 1st wild card spot either. So it's likely da Ducks play da Kings in the 1st round and da Blues either play da Wild or da Hawks! 8)

I am looking for the "Doesn't matter" option. You have to beat every team you play, so it's really not relevant. Win a playoff series and keep going, who gives a shit who we play?

Very unlikely?
We are two points behind them with a game in hand.
I wouldn't call it very unlikely for us to catch them. They hold the tiebreaker, but we're right there with them.

If Ottawa beats Pittsburgh tomorrow night, Pittsburgh and Ottawa will be tied for the 8 seed in the East. Would be crazy if Pittsburgh misses the playoffs.
