LOL, this is my favorite so far. Elliott steals a win vs TB. Allen shuts out Buffalo (on the road--although Buffalo) and one clearly fluky game trumps everything.

How about trade Ott, Boumeester, Bergland and Stastny. What the hell does Stastny even do it there? He's terrible. And yes, just like the other years, they peaked too soon. They have actually played like crap the last 3 games. Now we're in for a streak the other way. WATCH AND SEE

Well the blues deserved a loss. It looked like the were skating with lead in their boots and couldnt complete any passes and we were not checking at all. Elliot needs to be traded and allen need needs to be our number one goalie. If elliot is allowed to dtay number one we will deffinately lose a lot more

Coach Hitch- Just an idea to try during regular season to prepare for the playoffs- 1st line Backes- Oshie- Steen have players switch positions having Backes-Oshie-Steen finish their checks every time against that line. Then do the same for line two Schwartz, Tarasenko, Lehtera. Follow up doing the same thing for the 3rd and 4th lines. These guys need to get in shape not for a FULL 60 but for a full 120+. The playoffs don't have 4on4 five minute OT followed by shootout. Plus, other teams top two lines are in shape to skate the entire game. The Blues need to get to the point where no other team will out skate them, out check them, or out shoot them. The physical game is exhausting, put their should be a pool for guys to throw in some money every time they don't finish a check or don't skate to the bench hard for a change.

The Blues groups are AWFUL. If the team runs into a losing streak (and we've been lucky to only have a few minor ones) they throw everyone on the trade block!
There's only a few that have somewhat knowledgeable fans, and that's why I joined this forum. I'm so sick of bandwagoners pretending to know about the team when they've been a fan less than a few years.

We do have JNE though...who is like our version of a Facebook poster.
But to be fair...Facebook posts in general will make you dumber for reading them. It's like a constant barrage of noob comments or idiots who don't know how to post stuff online.
I have found that discussion forums have a much higher level of intelligence when it comes to posting...and I'm not sure why. Maybe because computer and online illiterate people use Facebook. People with internet skills and therefore internet tact, will post on discussion forums.
I dunno.

Guess it's too late to get a goalie. Not sure I have ever seen a goalie give up all three goals in a shootout. Was Allen drunk or just betting against the team. Get out those golf clubs, boys.

Side note: has this current tandem of goaltenders ever taken over a game and won it for the blues. Can't remember. You'll need that for a Cup!

He's not even the greatest #5 in Blues history.

But I like Jackman...I like him a lot. He has been a good player for us over the years.
It's a shame he had that shoulder injury early in his career ((Frank) Bertuzzi) which took away his aggressive hard hitting style. He also can't fight anymore...he just seems to mostly hold on and at best throw a couple short punches if he can.
One thing though...Jackman is about as tough as they come. He wears the #5 well.

I do agree about Jax. The main reason I want to see him stay is that he's given his heart and soul to our team, and as a fan, that goes a long way with me. He's not the best, he's not the smoothest, doesn't always make the smartest decisions. But if you prove that you're willing to leave it all out there for the team, and for the fans? You're okay in my book.

But still....G.O.A.T.? C'mon...haha.
