Blues fans in SoCal?

I'm reaching out and trying to find other Blues fans in SoCal (I love in OC). I'm really just curious if there are more here besides myself, and maybe would want to connect with them. I love living in Cali, but don't like seeing the Blues live only a few times a year. I need some Blues-fan support!

There are many people who support teams in geographically distant places for any number of good reasons.

Rather than steering people towards other teams, you might be happy for the support...if you were actually a fan of the Blues.

@ OP - I am not in SoCal, but kick ass that you keep the faith out there in the sun. I have friends that are out there who support the Blues, but they aren't on this board.

Have you looked around for any Hockey bars in your area? Sometimes you can find groups of fans who support your team that way. I met lots of Blues fans (and good hockey folks who liked other teams) when I was out of state by going to watch games at bars that show lots of hockey.

I'm a fourth generation Bay Area native and I've bled Blue since Mike Liut played for us and I followed the Blues on the radio. You won't find many people out my way rocking the Note proudly who arent from the STL, but we are here and we are loyal as (frank).

The Sharks are the local team and I have outright hated them since day one. Teals just a lighter color of blue to me.

People don't always live in the same place where they grow up. I grew up in St. Louis, but haven't actually lived there since 1995. Since that time, I've lived in Japan, Kansas, Hawaii, Texas, and Virginia, and spent significant time in Qatar, Afghanistan, and Bahrain.

I live in New York, in the time I've been alive the Islanders have won 2 cups plus 2 others the year before and the year I was born, the Rangers 1 and the Devils 3, so does that mean I should be a fan of any of those three teams before the Blues?

By the way, JNE, I find fans of the "road team" such as myself to be folks of high character. It takes a lot of patience and guts to always go to games and be in enemy colors. You're hardly ever among like minded people and you have to be extremely thick skinned--especially with Ranger fans who are vicious. I applaud anyone who is a fan of the road team no matter what sport or what team that is they follow. I wouldn't criticize them, especially if we were fans of the same team. Of course you, being a Hawks fan, don't really care one iota about someone from SoCal being a Blues fan, your main interest is people not being Blues fans.
