Thank goodness they reversed this rule after only 2 months. For those that need a refresher, the previous rule was to do NO zamboni after regulation and immediately start into OT. Then this year they changed it and now everyone has to wait 5 minutes for the zambonis to dry scrape the ice after regulation. The GMs thankfully felt it was a buzzkill which I agree with. The last thing a fan wants is to stop the game after regulation when you're team is in a tie. The cool part too is that there will be no zamboni scrape after OT either. So same ice from the beginning of the third period all the way through the shootout.

I dry scraped your mom last night.
That was uncalled for. It's only because of your avatar.... and your mom's dry vag.

Tough crowd in here.
I'm just glad I never have to hear the words "dry scrape" again...hopefully forever.

How is this a good thing??
You want the players to skate on bad ice in OT and the shootout?
