Re: Fantasy!
I notice the matchups go by week.
So for the week 1 matchups do the cumulative results of each player for the week determine the winner?

Re: Fantasy!
Each category is a point. If you win the category, then you get a point. You want to win as many categories as possible.
You could win 6 categories and lose 4. Your record would be 6 and 4.
Someone else could win 9 categories and lose only 1. Their record would be 9 and 1.
There can be ties in a category also.
Once you get to the playoffs, all you have to do is win more categories than your opponent.

What are the different categories?
Re: Fantasy!
I think you can figure that out for yourself. Just go to the league site and look at your team. What are the categories?JesusNEVERexisted wrote:What are the different categories?

Re: Fantasy!
When I click on my team it simply lists the players on my team. Then it lists G, A, PPP, SHG, etc. but there aren't 10 of those so that's why I asked. Nowhere does it list 10 categories so that's why I asked what are the 10 categories?ibldbl wrote:I think you can figure that out for yourself. Just go to the league site and look at your team. Re: Fantasy!
Check your league settings. Your categories are:
Goals
Assists
+/-
Penalty minutes
Power play points
Shots on goal
Wins
Goals against average
Save %
Shutouts
I'm only being Gregory Good Guy here because your line of questioning reminds me of my grandma if she were to try playing fantasy hockey.

Re: Fantasy!
Thanks Toasted Oates. I know fantasy sports are popular but not everyone has gotten involved. I'm not much of a fan of other sports (compared to cold steel on ice!) and I never got into fantasy hockey till I found this site.

I just can't believe he was available. I thought he would've been picked up in the first few rounds.

Re: Fantasy!
Seriously? Do you not understand the concept of a bench? What would be the point of setting lineups if you got points for everyone, bench or active? Dude, use your head.JesusNEVERexisted wrote:Do we get ANY points for a bench player at all?

Re: Fantasy!
As long as they score you should get points for ALL your players.
Re: Fantasy!
Do I get points when players who aren't on my team score? I wanted them to be on my fantasy team but someone else picked them up. But I should still get point for them, RIGHT?

No, I'm only talking about players on your own team.
