Let's Go Blues

We are going to LIVE stream a Blues Roundtable Discussion at 9pm on Wednesday the 8th...the night before the Blues opener.
It should last 30 minutes to an hour or so...or if it's going well, maybe we'll just keep going.

The live stream will be viewable on the letsgoblues.com home page...and will also be available to watch later if you can't watch it live.
You can even interact in some ways...like asking questions or hitting an applause button. But I think that is when you watch through Hangouts (which I'll post a link for) and not just the YouTube stream.

Among myself and Jeff Ponder, we're going to have a few forum members participate as well. That's the whole deal, to have a roundtable discussion with members of the forum.
If you listened to Lets Go Blues Radio the past couple years and wanted to participate, well, here is your chance.

We're going to try to do this weekly or so...whatever works for everyone's schedules.
The format is going to be loose..not too structured. We'll have a list of Blues related topics to keep us moving along if things slow down, but the conversation can go any which direction and you can say whatever the hell you want.

I had a great time doing Lets Go Blues Radio with Ponder, Bill and Quirin the past couple years...and I'd like to continue to keep that kind of door open. We might not do it every week, but we'll do it as much as we can.

To participate, you'll need:
- Webcam
- Microphone
- Decent broadband internet connection
- Google+ account (we're doing this over Google+ Hangouts...which will also be archived on YouTube)
If you have a laptop, you probably already have the webcam and microphone...and the Google+ account is free, and you already have one if you have a gmail account.

If you want us to discuss something in particular, tweet it out. And just include #LGBRT in your tweet.

This could be a lot of fun...or it could really suck. Who knows. But we're going to give it a go regardless.

Hmmm...that logo is kind of big. I would make it smaller, but...eh.

Seriously, glad to see the roundtables back. Hopefully I will have the chance to participate now that I am back on US soil...

Let's say you don't want to particapte but just listen to the discussion. Can you just listen from your cellphone?

It is a youtube stream...so yes.

Jeff Ponder (from this forum) and Mike Poepping did the KSDK Face Off Show during the playoffs...which was great.
But we had stopped doing Lets Go Blues Radio due to the busyness of schedules and whatnot.
If we get participants and enough people enjoy it, we'll keep doing this as much as we can. Personally, I enjoy it quite a bit. It's a lot of fun.

Gonna have to cancel this. I had some stuff come up and our reschedule date didn't work out for those that were going to participate.
We'll try it again soon.
