Regardless of what goon says, they can't all be goons. This team needs Schwartz and I was really looking forward to him lining up with Vova and Lehtera this season. At this point, if something got done today would he even be ready for the opener?

I guess it depends on what he's been doing with himself. Is he at least skating somewhere? From all the other times players have held out I recall that conventional wisdom was you need to be playing and working out at least 2 to 3 weeks to get back in the groove of things.
