So I run a pay fantasy hockey keeper league...have been since 2001.
I may have a manager dropping out...I should know for sure today. Would anyone want in should that spot open up? (pretty sure it will)

- It's an ESPN head to head points league.
- 12 team league...2 divisions of 6.
- 6 team playoffs...division winners get first round byes.
- 2 C, 2 RW, 2 LW, 4 D, 2 G - 4 bench and 1 IR.
- $15 to play...payable via PayPal. Winnings paid out via PayPal as well. Top 3 spots win $$. 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50, Third place: $15.
- 4 keepers...same team can't keep same player more than three straight drafts in a row. Past years keeper lists are available to see.
- Our online draft is Oct. 2nd, 8:30pm central time.
- You'll be taking over an existing roster.
- Games played limits per week per position.
- Daily free agent silent auctions with a $200 budget...and you can bid $0.
- Skater scoring: Goals, +/-, SHG, Hat tricks, Blocked shots, Assists, PIM, faceoffs won, hits, power play points
- Goalie scoring: Wins, L, GA, Saves, SO, OTL
- Trades can be made before the draft, including the trading of draft picks.

Definitely need a manager now. So first come first serve...

Would you be able to post the existing roster here? I've been debating if I want to make the commitment on this or not. It's definitely intriguing. I've been wanting to be in a hockey keeper league for awhile.

We actually have two vacant rosters.
We have one manager on board to take over one...we just need one more manager.
We'll draw the name out of a hat to see who get's what roster...unless you guys both want different rosters...then you can each have that one.

Team #1 will have the 7th overall pick in the draft.

Roster 2:

Team #2 will have the 2nd overall pick in the draft.

Keep in mind this is a 12 team keeper league...and you get 4 keepers per team. Everyone else goes back into the draft.

Oh, and I'm trading Crosby. I can't keep him this year as I have already kept him the last 3 drafts...so he's available via trade...just throwing that out there. Looking for at least a high quality keeper player and a 1st round pick.

As long as you've still got a spot, I think I'm going to do this. Let me double check w/ the Mrs. and make sure we don't have anything on the agenda for draft night. Otherwise, I'm good to go.

Which roster would you prefer? If you both prefer the same roster, then I'll just draw a name out of a hat.

Double checked and I'm good. Free for the draft, etc. Looking at it, I'd prefer roster #2. One question I have, will I have to give up any of those guys on the roster because of the 3 year rule? I was trying to find the keepers list and unable to do so. I may just be missing it smacking me in the face though.
