Blues Equipment Sale - Questions

So the Blues are having their annual equipment sale again on Saturday...

What are the prices like? Do they have good deals, or is it all pretty pricey?

Interesting - I wonder why they do this every year - is it just old and worn out equipment? And are the prices sold at skyrocket prices because it was Backes shoulder pads, or Oshie's glove?

Is Miller's mask for sale? That stupid franking thing was a jinx once he switched from the plain white. Someone's gotta buy it and run a steamroller over it.

The closest thing we had to this was game worn jerseys that were sold in Chicago at a place called HawkQuarters. Those things stunk really bad just standing 5 feet away from them. And of course they were all like $500 and up cause they were game worn. Why would I pay $500 for some guys smelly sweat jersey? I bet all that St. Louis gear is that way as well - I'll pass.

I was wondering if other teams do this. Maybe the Blues do it to get more revenue. Anyone know how many years the Blues have been doing this?

They've been doing it for a long time.
What else are they going to do with the equipment? They can't donate it to kids...it's adult sized stuff.
Someone said that the prices are pretty good, and the fans love it. You apparently can't buy most of this stuff in stores as it is custom pro level stuff.

And leave it to the Hawks to sell unwashed game used jerseys.
