Not being able to speak on the ice sucks, speaking from past experience unfortunately.

Wild looking really good right now, this has upset written all over it if Minnesota can pull out a win in Chicago.
“It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner. That is the way it was and will be. That way and not some other way.”

This actually has been a very boring series - all 4 games so far have been yawners in my opinion.

Miss us yet? :okman:

I think the Hawks have it in the bag. If you drop back to back, with one of them having to be at home, to lose the series... I'd be pissed.

Yeah I think the NHL doesn't like our series either - which explains all the 8pm and 8:30pm starts we have had against Minny. They put the more attractive matchups first and we get buried to the bottom. Our series vs. you guys was prime time and always seemed to be the lead story on NHL tonight. Minny plays different than you guys - not necessarily better - but just different - hard to explain. The Blues style is much more physical but exciting. Minny is just plain boring.

I'll give Minny credit. They played them much closer than I thought they did. Chicago wins, no big surprise. I just wish they would stop winning.

Minny was tough - they are an ascending team and close to making a run for the whole thing. They do a trap in the neutral zone which completely flustered us. In game 5 they completely shut us down in period 1. Then for whatever reason they stopped doing that in periods 2 and 3. We play great D and that is really our strength. Our PK sucked during most of the regular season - we were 29th for months and I think finished the season around #20 as we did well with the PK in the last month or so. And in the playoffs our PK has rocked and been a huge difference maker in both rounds 1 and 2.
