I feel awful that he's going to miss the Olympics. Playing for your country is a huge thing and he's going to miss out on it for a stupid injury late in a game. It's funny because a lot of people on here were worried about our guys getting hurt at the Olympics. Boat got hurt playing for us and he's still going to miss time after the Olympics. But I hope he nurses it back to top shape and is ready to go late in the season.

That sucks. He's not our best player, but he's one of my favorites. Really sucks that such a workhorse has to miss the Olympics.

I don't get how a broken knee cap could have, at any point in time, been considered a "day to day" injury. How do you not know right away that you broke it? Here's to a speedy recovery, but you know what? If Boat stayed out until the playoffs, I wouldn't be the least bit upset. Make sure you're definitely 100%. The rest of the guys will pick up the slack for you, just be ready to rock and roll in the real season.

Bad timing for him, great timing for the St. Louis Blues.
