There's a video made by Shanny as well.
A good amount in my opinion.

I watched the Burns hit on Morrow a few times. Still baffled how they considered this a reverse hit. You can see Burns wind up before Morrow gets there. Morrow braces himself and still can't avoid being thrown into the boards. You've got to be kidding, Shanny.

Call me an anti-homer, but to me it kinda looks like a dive.

I'm torn on how bad of a hit it was, but I don't think most players dive head first into the boards to draw a penalty.

I wouldn't call it a dive, but I wouldn't call it intentional by Lapierre either. I think that's why this was only 5 games and not more.

I've come to the conclusion that pretty much the only way to have a completely reasonable opinion of a hit or infraction is to not have it involve your home team in any way.

This goes for me as well.

Reading home teams fans opinions on any hit when it happens to "their guy" is always shoocking.

I can't tell you how many Sharks fans I say honestly (and without hyperbole) saying that Lapierre deserved to be kicked out of the league for good for his hit on Boyle.

I was referring to the Morrow hit. I think that's what kodos was referring to as well, but I could be mistaken.

I honestly think I can disconnect from being a fan if there is a serious debate over a play. If I felt Lapierre's hit was dirty I would say so. I'm not that much of a homer to honestly believe that everything a Blues player does is right. I've said before, Lapierre could have completely destroyed Boyle if he wanted to, but he didn't. Boyle was just starting to stumble upon contact. The hit from behind and Lapierre's history is enough to warrant some kind of suspension and I think 5 is just right. That's just a completely bipartisan answer. Had Lapierre just ruthlessly bulled over Boyle (like he could have) I would be right there with the Sharks fans saying he deserves a lot more.

For the vast majority of fans (also including me), I think this is true. Not every fan is equally biased, but there are very few that form an opinion about hits involving their own team without any emotion.
