First home preseason game, fools. Gotta get preseason revenge on the Lightning for stealing that extra preseason point away just a few nights ago in 'their' building down in Orlando.

GET FIRED UP!!!

I'll be there tonight. I'm taking my 4 year old daughter to her first ever hockey game.
Got her a jersey yesterday.
She woke up this morning asking when we were going to the hockey game. :okman:
She's excited. But seeing as her bed time is usually 8 or 8:30...we may end up leaving early. Either way, should be fun!

Well, my daughter loved the game!
I thought for sure we'd be leaving after the 2nd period. I figured she would be tired and getting sick of sitting in one spot. But nope...she loved watching the game. She asked me a ton of questions, we walked around inbetween periods, went to the team store and got her a few things...and when we were checking out she was worried we were missing part of the game. I asked if she wanted to go home after the 2nd period, and she said she wanted to stay and watch the "third game".

She loved clapping along with the crowd and yelling "Let's Go Blues!".

When the lightning went up 2-1 and they lined up for the faceoff after the goal, she said, "Here comes a fight!"
Oh, and the fights were her favorite part. 10 seconds in there was a bit of a brawl with the players on the ice. She loved it.

She did not like the fog horn though. She said it was too loud. Oh, and she kept calling the fog horn the "corn dog". Which was hilarious.

That was a lot of fun.
