Ugh, hawks and wings?

It's like a black hole, it really really really sucks.

No one wins with this series...

I want to see Detroit suffer. I want to see full line brawls, high-scoring games, lots of tension and excitement. After that, the Kings can feel free and sweep the winner. Make them work to win, hurt, injure, etc and when the winner make it out, totally and utterly crush their dreams and knock them out of the playoffs. That makes me a happy camper.

Good God, I hate both teams equally. Best case scenario (I guess), is that the Wings beat the Hawks to shut up the bandwagon hopping fans in Chi-Town and complete quite the choke. Then the Wings go on to lose in the WCF before moving over to the Eastern Conference where we can be rid of their 'Hockeytown' mystique full of empty seats.

I would rather Detroit be humiliated by a Division rival, so I've got to go with Chicago for this one. After they've bloodied them to a pulp, of course.

Hey, whaddaya know, the Wings benefit from a ri-dick 'no goal' on the Hawks '2nd goal.' That was the weakest goalie interference call I've ever seen.

Yeah - That call was a complete joke. That was a good goal. The NBCSN commentators never commented on the call. Just another case of the visiting team getting screwed at the Joe.

Definitely. The Hawks got Winged right thar. Pretty blatantly, too. Turrible. Just turrible.

This series is not going the way I would have predicted. But I sure do love watching the Blackhawks with their backs against the wall.

Detroit continues to be Coach Q's kryptonite.

This series further convinces me that if we had drawn anyone but LA in the first round, we would have made a deep, deep run this year.

I agree. And we were just that close to getting by LA. We played them very close, and If we could have put just a few more shots in the net, then it's a different outcome.

We would be playing San Jose right now. A tough but winnable series. I've been saying it for a while, but I really truly believe that at least 50% of hockey is just dumb luck.

Anyway, while I hate Detroit with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns... I'm really enjoying watching Chicago step on their own wieners.

As long as Detroit doesn't win the cup, meh, who cares. Watching Chicago get a little turdball dingleberry get dropped on top of the delicious and perfect ice cream sundae that was there amazing season sorta makes it all worth it. It would have been better if they went out in the first, but this is good too.

That said, it's not over yet.

A 3rd grader who is also a Blackhawks fan answered 'Hossa' on a math test. I don't care that she's a Blackhawks fan, this makes me proud as a hockey fan.
