Players that don't tear it up in leagues before getting to the NHL, rarely become stars in the NHL, and quite often don't make it to the NHL at all.

I'd rather he be tearing it up than not tearing it up. And if he can come in and score 20+ goals a year, that's a winner. Anything else is icing.
Looking forward to seeing him in training camp.
This is hockey, not cake. Icing = bad!   :okman:
WTF?

Icing on cake rules. Icing in hockey is only bad half the time.
Pie > cake. Icing = bad news
Woah, woah...
That's a huge unwarranted blanket statement.
And icing is the shit. You obviously haven't tasted good buttercream icing. You probably spring for that whipped cream fluffy shit.

Besides, it depends on the pie and depends on the cake.
Not all pie is superior to cake. My mom is a cake maker...and her's kick many a pie's ass.
Personally, I'd rather have a great cake than a great piece of pie.

But I'm a brownie guy. Give me a stellar brownie over stellar cake or pie any day.

I once had my mom make a cake out of brownies. Two layers, iced, the whole nine yards. It looked like a cake, but you cut into it...and it was 2 layers of brownies. Killer.

I'd love for Rattie to come in and light up the lamp regularly, but realistically that probably won't happen, especially in Hitch's system. The only people impressed with the Blues drafting has been, well, us. What do we really have to show for it?
Big difference between one good season vice two outstanding seasons with improvement and consistency over three seasons.
