He should have been tossed from the game & been a major penalty.
At minimum, it should've been 4 minutes. Petro was bleeding. That was the turning point. It seemed like the Blues were arguing the call still, and then 20 seconds later the Kings score short-handed. Series over.

Just franking win!

This year is set up to be a colossal problem for the fans of whichever team wins anyway, because the other 29 fan bases will say it's a tainted championship, short season and all that. I'd actually argue the latter. With the compressed schedule it was actually a tougher season, a harder grind for all the players and it'll be even more of an accomplishment for the eventual champs.

No predictions here, I just want to see redemption against LA, first. Until proven otherwise, they're technically the best and it never hurts to beat the best.

While this is my fear if the Blues finally win the Cup, I will say that I never hear anyone say the '95 Devils' title is tainted (other than the trap business and all of that). Bottom line, the playoff format still include 8 teams to each side, 16 wins to get the Cup.

The devils title from 95 is totally tainted! If you weren't busy trying to get Neil Emerson's autograph all summer you would know that!!

A) The Devils beat the Red Wings--so that's good, no?
B) You can't fault me for trying to get Nelson Emerson's autograph because he's a BA.
C) Completely unrelated but I heard the game is not sold out tonight. Dubya tee eff?

Not enough LA fans to fill the place up. We aren't playing Chicago. That barn has been (Franking) empty all goddamn season. The bandwagon isn't here yet.

As long as AMac is not taking defensive zone faceoffs, the Blues should be fine.

Every mothereffing home game against Chicago it looked like there was at least a 50/50 split Blues fans to Hawks fans. What the hell was that all about?

More like 80/20..

The place has been desolate... huge empty sections... large swaths of empty seats, and they have the nerve to announce sellouts almost all the time..

I'm shaved and ready for the playoffs.

LETS (Franking) DO THIS SHIT

None of my superstitions worked before. Screw it, going totally different this year.

I have a feeling the Kings will jump a ahead to a quick lead, and will not look back all night.

That's why Ryan Reaves is in the lineup right there. Wow.

Congrats, Blues. You were absolutely dominant for 59 minutes. And that's worth absolutely nothing. Soft goal by Elliott..he had to do virtually nothing the entire game, and gave up the softie to tie it up. Backbreaking.

That was a brutal one. Tough to watch the time tick down just waiting for something bad to happen.

Fingers crossed for overtime - would be tough to control the entire game and then lose it...

This could be the series right here...if you lose this game at home, you go into the locker room thinking you can't beat the Kings no matter what. We'll find out what sort of team this is right now.

4th line should have gotten more ice time in the 3rd. Especially the final minute.
