All games in the first round are covered locally.
They are also broadcast nationally. I typed up the whole list as it came out last night.

It's somewhere around here..

On NHL Network, the showed Games 1 and 2 on CNBC and Games 3 and 4 on NBCSports. I will try to find a link to verify this.

Here's a link: http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebyweek.htm?team=STL

I sorted it by the week and it shows the first 4 games and all networks (national, local, Canada) that the game airs on.

Will those of us outside of St. Louis be able to watch the FSMW feed if we have Gamecenter? Or am I going to be stuck with the shitty CNBC feed?

On the Blues site, it shows the games on FSMW

It is. Sorry, I should have clarified in my post. For a national audience, the first two games are on CNBC, the 3rd and 4th game are on NBC Sports. They are all carried locally on FSMW for those who are in the viewing area. So basically, for those of us who get the games on FSMW already will get round 1 games on FSMW.

If you're going to win Lord Stanley, you have to beat God in heaven and Satan in hell. Might as well start with the Kings.

I think Game 1 is going to be stupid-physical. We might even lose because of guys in the box. But the tone has to be set early. No one is going to open the Roman Polak door. He's going to kick that mother in himself.

Games 1 and 2 will air on FOX Sports Midwest’s main channel in the St. Louis market and on DirecTV, Dish and AT&T U-verse. Outside the St. Louis market, Games 1 and 2 will air on FOX Sports Midwest Plus or an alternate channel. Games 3 and 4 will air on the FOX Sports Midwest main channel throughout the FOX Sports Midwest Blues TV footprint.
FSMW Main channel is where the Blues are going to be on, no FSMW plus bullshit.

It's only fair that he or Doughty get boarded with no call, and they miss most of the rest of the series due to injury as a result from the hit.

I'm not condoning playing dirty...just saying it's only fair.

They are already mentally crippled, physical crippling would only round out the deck.

GameCenter has been such a disappointment. No national games televised. Sometimes the games are blocked out for no reason. I don't get it. NHL should own the rights to all games. I'm willing to pay for them...let me watch dammit!

Yeah, I did it this year as well. Needless to say I cancelled the auto renewal for next year.

There's an auto renewal? Shit.

On the other hand, living in Virginia, I have no access to FSMW, and GameCenter is cheaper than ordering NHL Network on Cox cable.

Game 4: FOX Sports Midwest, KMOX 1120 AM
What the....FSMW, I have a hockey game during the first game.
Anyone know whats going on? I've heard national coverage and this shit.
Was the NHL supposed to consult with your schedule before the playoffs were scheduled?

The first round is on local TV for those markets playing in those games.

This is a super important question...

For the past decade or so, I've always grown a playoff beard (or rather, as a Blues fan, whatever it is you would call 2 weeks of facial hair)...

But here's the thing, like all real men, I normally wear a beard. So what I always do is shave it off and let it grow back.

I'm thinking this year, that rather than grow a beard, which isn't really unusual for me, because like I said... I generally do have a beard... that I would instead shave every day of the playoffs, and "grow" a reverse playoff beard... which, again, would be unusual for me.

The thing is that I feel weird breaking with tradition, no matter how retarded and asinine the tradition is.

And yes, I know this is all stupid and crazy. Please proceed to mock me...

Whatever you did it worked.

Keep doing it.
