LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday the club has assigned goaltender Brian Elliott to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, for conditioning.
Elliott will start for the Rivermen on Friday against Oklahoma City and Saturday against Lake Erie before returning to the Blues following Saturday’s game.
Elliott, 27, has appeared in 11 games for the Blues this season, posting a 3-6-1 record with a 3.65 goals-against average and a .851 save percentage.
Overall, the 6-foot-2, 209-pound goaltender has appeared in six National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, including the last two with the Blues, posting a 87-69-21 record with a 2.65 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage in 191 career games.
