This 4 games vs. 2 div. rivals and 5 games vs. another 2 div. rivals is kinda weird for me... Lets hope we play 5 games vs the BJ's and the Dead Things.
I beg to differ with the thread title, it's misleading. The boys will be playing 4 games against an eastern team this year, en route to winning the cup.

Exactly, I wish the normal season would be played this way. More games against your divisional foes. Builds better rivalaries, and more hate!!!!!! This leads to more intense games, think back to late 80s early 90s.

So we will play 5 games against Detroit, thats for sure. On Jan. 19 (home, season opener), Febr. 1. (away, 6:30PM), Febr. 7. (home), Febr. 13. (away, 6:30PM), Apr. 7. (away, 11:30AM).
