Me too. Dags does nothing for me. Of course...who is he going in for?

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

I would rather see whatever helps this team win. While sitting in the airport yesterday waiting for our plane to get to the gate I had the displeasure of dealing with the missus bragging about how the Rags won and concurrently seeing we lost in (Franking) 2OT. All around a completely unpleasant experience.

I've got issues with the fact Ryan Reaves never played at all in OT.

During a break in the 1st period, Hitchcock says the Blues aren't getting the puck deep and wearing down the Sharks defense. One player that was consistently doing this through the 1st three periods was Ryan Reaves. He was creating chaos for the Sharks while doing so in a controlled, yet aggressive manner. So now that it is OT and you want to punish this team, the one guy who was punishing them the most physically does not play at all?? Reaves was not a defensive liability at all in the game. Put out the guy who - having not played as much as the rest of the team - actually hits and can force mistakes. He forced plenty of mistakes by the Sharks over the 1st three periods of the game.

So what if he is not a scoring guy? What is the point of double shifting Steen and not continuing to punish the Sharks defense - as Hitchcock stated the team should be doing from the get-go?

The two factors in the loss:
1) Niemii was outstanding in OT.
2) Hitchcock not sticking with the philosophy he espouses for the duration of the game.
