A bunch of Redwings fans here Cced me on their thread talking about how excited they are about their series starting. Here is my reply:

I feel sorry for y'all - you guys are playing the Preds. Even if you win that series, whoever plays you next is going to play half an AHL team because all your pansy superstars are going to be too tired/hurt.

The only rogue variable that could thwart the Redwings inevitable playoff demise is Shanahan suspending the entire opposing team for making contact with Datsyuk. I look forward to the announcement of Brendan Shanahan taking a job at the Detroit front office next season, since he's already essentially been working out of there all season.
