How we jumped the Canucks 3-4 days after losing to them at home is a bit mind-boggling, but w/e. It's nice to see some respect from the national media.
I'd posit the Western Conference Central division is the best in hockey, right now.
NHL.com Power Rankings:
3 St Louis
4 Detroit
5 Chicago
6 Nashville

Right now without question. I might have a shortterm memory and I'm not super educated about historically tough divisions, but I'm struggling to think of a tougher division in other years as well.

The only other time I remember the Central, or any division, being this tough was the last time the Blues made the playoffs in '08-'09. All 5 teams had a chance to make the playoffs up until the very end, when Nashville tailed off a bit, but the other 4 teams all made it in. But the Blues were the 6th seed and I think CBJ was 7. Nashville was 9 or 10. But either way, the Central is by far the best division this year. No question.

It was like they were summoning the ghost of Brad Boyes or something. Just seems like they could have easily had 50 shots and about 5 more goals.

Yeah, WTF?
Oshay?
Pair-own?
Lay-to-nen?
Pierre McGuire must think he can replicate the finer points of every language. What a godsend he is to hockey (not).

OMG, Ken Wilson is haunting Pierre McGuire. Petree Kleyema anyone? (Petr Klima - Wilson consistently pronounced this name wrong among many others.)
