Anyone notice the commercial during the game today?

A few of the playerse skated out to the camera and said something, and Jackman was last and he said, "I believe in this team."
And then they just put up "Believe" on the screen.

I wonder if they ditched the whole, "Don't stop believing" theme because of the public backlash (and the fact it's stupid)? And are just using, "Believe" now. There is no mention of the Don't Stop Believing theme on their website anywhere.

"Believe" would be a much better choice.

While I believe that "Believe" is better I still believe they could do better.

They just need to drop the anything related to the "Don't Stop Believin'" angle. Hopefully, they fired whichever idiot ad execs decided a Detroit-based theme for a St Louis team which is a rival of the Detroit team was a good idea. Unfortunately, Dollar Dave probably signed off on it -

and he hasn't fired himself yet.

"Believe" was the stars slogan during the '07-'08 season. I had to put up with that for a whole year.

I prefer "Relieve"... as in, "I'm going to relieve myself all over this joke of a team if they don't start playing with some ballsack."
