Nope. nationalpastimes.com came after the original est 1967...and after stlouisbluesnews.com started if I remember correctly.
While the content was good on NP, I never cared for the look and feel and the lack of significant Blues talk...so I rarely went there.

I started posting on postnet.net (old post dispatch site) on their Blues forum. That had to have been around 1999 or 2000.

I started stlouisbluesnews.com on free hosting with a free domain name after the original est 1967 was hacked and taken down for good.
I think one of the numerous free domains we had was: stlouisbluesnews.coolfreewebpages.com. Dumb.
But then again, I was just out of college...I didn't have any money to be paying for domain names and hosting. Free sounded pretty good at the time. But a couple months later I bit the bullet and bought stlouisbluesnews.com and started paying for hosting. It made a huge difference.

I started stlouisbluesnews.com/letsgoblues.com in December of 2001.
So in December of this year, the BNF/LGB community will be celebrating our 10th anniversary.
