As for the Hawks, I'll reserve judgement until the start of the season. Clearly these moves are part of a larger strategy. What I don't understand is why clubs keep signing guys to these ridiculous deals?
How about the Sharks/Wild trade? When I first heard it I thought the Sharks got raped, but I'm wondering if this will turn out like Chee Choo/Heatley.

a bit surprised the Blues didn't make a more major deal.
Sad to see Saad end up with the Hawks and Jurco with the Wings(then again shouldn't all Wings be called "jerko"?). Rattie and Jaskin look to be OK picks.
Edmundson is described as a 'long term project' by TSN.....figure equal probs steal or bust.
Took 2 goalies in the top 5 rounds which is a little odd. Guess our prospect depth in goal is thin after the guys in Peoria.
