Bob McKenzie says for 2nd rounder in 2011.

This roster overturn is for real. Fun and scary at the same time.

I guess that's reasonable. He's not worth a 1st round pick, so I think I'm satisfied.

You think they could use that pick and pair it up with another pick and/or player to spin it off for more assets?

That didn't take long. The administration is admitting, essentially, that the rebuild is a complete bust. I don't expect him to be the last body thrown out of here.

Wow...thought there would be a player coming back, but I'll take a 2nd rounder. What is Buffalo thinking?

lol, how is getting rid of a 3rd liner who can't find the back of the net anymore an admission of failure? Get rid of Oshie, Perron, Berglund, etc., and we'll have an admission.

Rebuild is a bust...

How about getting rid of dead weight that is slowing down the progress.

That's funny...I thought that he was one of the last pieces of the puzzle.

Possibly, but I doubt it happens tomorrow. If we package something, we'd probably want to get somebody in the ballpark of Steen's talent (not necessarily a forward, just his level of quality). If we can't get something that good, I think we're better off trying our luck in the draft, especially w/ as well as JD, et al, have drafted thus far. I doubt we pick up anybody that's on par with Steen tomorrow, so it seems more like an offseason (maybe draft day) trade, if we make it.

Puzzle? Really....he was traded here 4 years ago. He lost his scoring touch. Blues need scorers.

Gotta get new players for their new owner.

And, that's solid return for Boyes. He came on strong in the assist column lately but I can't say he'll be missed around these parts, honestly.

yeah. Not once, ever, have I thought of Boyes as the last piece of the puzzle. Hell, if you look at most pre-season predictions, most people put the Blues still at least a year away back in September. So, it seems silly to be so upset that they aren't there yet. They're not supposed to be there yet.

Dollar Dave thanks you. If you never have to get there, you're always getting there. Great tickets still on sale!

No more Boyes, no more Johnson. This isn't a rebuild, it's an ungheyinnuendoification.
