Are the Blues giving up for the season?

Post by vinnieblues »

Was just curious if they intend on making the push to the playoffs or are they gonna barely tread water and fall short again. Is there anybody out there that we can trade for to help get us back on track?

If they were as bad a New Jersey or Edmonton I would tank the rest of the season to up my chances to get the number one draft pick, but since we are only a few points out of the race I dont see it happening.

New Jersey has lost one game in their last 14. NYI and Edmonton are always there to make the Blues look (good).

Even if we had the number 1 pick we wouldn't pick the right guy.

They're 2-0-1 in their last 3 games. Small sample size, but no, they aren't giving up.

:plusplus: I agree. Why are we not actively trying to find someone before the deadline when we can move Brewer,Boyes or Conklin.

The Blues are worse than blind squirrels. Blind squirrels find nuts sometimes, like the Islanders and Michael Grabner. We're blind, deaf, mute, and devoid of sensation, hence a system filled with also-rans like TJ Hensick and wang teases like Jonas Junland.
