I like it, it will be our first game of the season, as well as, our home opener and we aren't featured in any other teams home openers.

Is it too early to start a GDT for this?

No, never too early! And it's a Saturday too, maybe I'll get to go this year. We could always start a GDT for the draft and free agency first, though.TSUCookieMonster wrote:Is it too early to start a GDT for this?

Anyone know when the single game tickets will go on sale? The blues website just says later this summer.

Typically they go on sale in early to mid August if I recall. I could be wrong, but the Blues usually release a date when single game tickets go on sale.abc789987 wrote:Anyone know when the single game tickets will go on sale? The blues website just says later this summer.

Before single game tickets go on sale to the public, season ticket holders have received codes for pre-sale tickets on TicketMaster.com. So, you may have a buddy that can get you that code.

Blues have an excessive number of games on b2b nights in this schedule. 17 times games are back-to-back nights, several involve travel, and only two are home-and-home setups. Seems excessive to me. At one point in February, they play 5 games in 7 days - @ Buf 18, vs Ducks 19, vs 'Hawks 21, @ Canucks 24, @ Oilers 25. Nothing like playing games on the East Coast, West Coast and in between with two sets of games on b2b nights during 1 week to test a team.

Freaking back to back games...are there any excess week off between games like last year?

Not as many as last season which seems odd. Asked on another forum about this and everyone says 17 times is nuts. It looks like the league is concentrating on having as many games on Fri/Sat as possible which is when most of the b2b games are scheduled.philco_3 wrote:Freaking back to back games...are there any excess week off between games like last year?
Still a slow start at the beginning of the season, then a pretty steady pace throughout - although the last week of Feb and the 1st 2 weeks in March are packed with games. The East Coast to West Coast to East Coast thing in 10 days is going to suck for the Blues.

Well, really, we're NOT the Red Wings. So we better get used to this bullshit.theohall wrote:Blues have an excessive number of games on b2b nights in this schedule. 17 times games are back-to-back nights, several involve travel, and only two are home-and-home setups.
