Ugh, ok, time to suck it up...Congrats Ruutu15!

Seriously though, I'm happy for you. The Hawks still suck, nothing changes that, but you've always been tolerable around here, which is quite a bit more than can be said about some toolbag fans from other teams who find their way here from whatever hellhole they crawled out of.

Enjoy the victory now because the Blues will be there next year squashing our hopes and murdering our dreams of winning our own Stanley Cup Championship as another year of promise turns into an abysmal failure. Well that came out way different than what was in my head...

Yea, congrats Ruutu15. I'm glad they won it without Ruutu

I was happy to see Toews lift the Cup. I love that guy. He's a class act all the way and deserves everything he is receiving. This was actually easier for me to watch then when NHL whipping boy Crysby won it last year... although it was tough seeing Hossa finally get his turn with it.

I love that hit.
No way was that a charge. Weaver didn't leave his feet to make that hit anymore than anyone else does on any big hit.

Hawks announcers were wrong on this one.

Yup.

Don't know why, but I even found that mullet getting my blood pressure up. Can't explain why. It's like he wasn't wearing the mullet for the love of a good wholesome mullet, but wearing the mullet just to be an asshole.
Not to mention those pube patches he tried to pass off as a playoff beard.

Suddenly, the Oshie interview doesn't look so bad.

While Kane truly is a raging douchebag, the Oshie interview was still a major clusterfook.

Link.
It started with hotel-room wrestling matches and became an honor in the locker room of the eventual Stanley Cup champions.

The Blackhawks' title belt -- one that garnered plenty of attention in March when goalie Antti Niemi first had it draped over his shoulder after a victory -- got even more attention Friday.

In front of an estimated 2 million people at the Hawks' Stanley Cup-winning rally downtown, Dustin Byfuglien stepped up to the podium, issued a humorous warning to cab drivers and handed the championship wrestling belt over to Patrick Kane.

So THAT's how it is in Chicago*... Not surprised.

*-Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Byfuglien and I obviously have different meanings of the word, humorous.

++

However, Byfuglien and I have different pronunciations of the word Byfuglien. Mine sounds much more humorous.
